Taiwan, officially the Taiwan Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, is an autonomous island territory of the People's Republic of China off the Eastern coast of China.

The Taiwan SAR was established on the 3rd March 2031, shortly after the success Chinese Unionist coup d'état, officially ending the Chinese Civil War 82 years after the Nationalist government moved to Taiwan.

Under the terms of the 2031 Taipei agreement, the newly formed Taiwan SAR would continue as an autonomous republic with its own parties, government and elections until the 1st January 2081 at which point possible integration with the mainland will be decided.
