The Axis of Resistance (AoR) is a military alliance of 6 nations located in the Middle East that was officially established on the 17th October 2025, 3 days after the outbreak of the Fourth Gulf War.
Originally the Axis of Resistance was Iran-led informal alliance between Iran, Syria, and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah which aimed to oppose Western, namely United States and Israel, interests in the region, sucessuly doing so in the Syrian Civil War. However, following the Qatif uprising and the subsequent Saudi invasion of Iraq, the AoR was reformed into a formal intergovernmental military alliance.
